Meet the Benin City Entertainment Roster: Rebel Rae, Bella Alubo, Tniyah, Binta, and Osa Zele
The five artists signed to Benin City Entertainment: a Washington DC soul vocalist, a Lagos pop star, a New Jersey R&B singer-songwriter, a UK-Gambian Afropop artist, and an Edo-rooted sound architect.

The Benin City Entertainment roster is deliberately small. Five artists we work with full-time across records, publishing, touring, visuals, and brand. Each one occupies a lane of their own, and each one is here because the label believes the long-term career matters more than the short-term release.
Rebel Rae
Based: Washington, DC · Lane: R&B, Soul · Site: rebel-rae or rebelrae.com
Rebel Rae is a dynamic vocalist and songwriter whose debut album We Made Soul dropped January 29, 2026 and has been building the kind of foundation careers are made of. She closed Amber Mark's North American tour as direct support, crossed to the European leg in April, and has a new single, Salvation, out November 6. Pandora picked her as the cover artist for its flagship R&B playlist. Her voice does what the greats do: it makes you feel something before you process the words.
Bella Alubo
Based: Lagos, Nigeria · Lane: Afropop · Site: bella-alubo or bellaalubo.com
Bella Alubo is a Nigerian pop artist whose single Fancy Lady soared to #1 on YouTube Music in Lagos and crossed 9.5 million views on the platform. Her ability to craft pop anthems that resonate across demographics has made her one of the most streamed female artists in the country, and the standard-bearer for commercial Afropop on our roster.
Tniyah
Based: New Jersey, USA · Lane: R&B · Site: tniyah or tniyah.com
Tniyah's debut single Waiting On, co-written by Grammy-nominated hitmaker Aaron Lamont (Chris Brown's Heat with Gunna, Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign), was the first release from the Benin City Entertainment / Capitol Music partnership. Over 1.2 million streams on Apple Music, editorial features, Teddy Riley and Bizness Boi collaborations, this is a career that has been quietly built for years and is now stepping fully into the light.
Binta
Based: London, UK · Gambia · Lane: Afropop, R&B, Soul · Site: binta or binta.com
Binta B. Phatty is a UK-Gambian singer-songwriter whose fusion of Afropop, dancehall, and contemporary R&B speaks directly to her generation. Her new single Siren, produced by Grammy-nominated producer Nabeyin, is her most ambitious release yet. On the Move, her 2025 EP, introduced her to global audiences and set the stage for everything coming next.
Osa Zele
Based: Benin City, Nigeria · Lane: Afrobeats, Afro-Soul · Site: osa-zele
Osa Zele brings a unique perspective to the Benin City roster, drawing on deep cultural roots and a forward-thinking musical vision. Her artistry bridges heritage and innovation. With a sound distinctly her own, she is carving out a space that honors her origins while pushing fearlessly into new sonic territory.
Why the Roster Stays Small
Every artist on this list has the full weight of the label behind them: our in-house studio for videos and visuals, our relationships with Capitol Music and global digital partners, our strategic team for touring and brand, and our back-office for royalty accounting and catalog management. That is only possible because the roster is tight. We would rather do five artists the right way than fifteen the wrong way.
If you are an artist and this sounds like the kind of home you want for your career, submit music here. If you are a journalist writing about any artist on the roster, our press hub has logo files, label background, and a direct email for interviews.
