Raised between Lagos and Abuja, he began creating music at age 14 using Fruity Loops software, drawing from classical piano lessons and a diverse influences including Afrobeat, hip-hop, and future bass to craft emotive, genre-defying tracks. His career launched with the 2014 mixtape Passport, a collaboration with his brother Suté Iwar that earned Nigerian Teens Choice Awards nominations and marked him as a pioneer in Nigeria's alté scene. Follow-up releases like the 2016 EP Renascentia, 2019's Soulection-backed album Gemini, and 2021's Love and Isolation showcased his evolution, earning Headies nominations, Grammy recognition for songwriting on Wizkid's Made in Lagos (Deluxe), and features on projects like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
